Download & Install

Download the .dmg file and drag Basil to your Applications folder. No additional setup required.

Grant Permissions

Allow microphone access and screen recording permissions when prompted. These are required for voice commands and context understanding.

Configure Hotkeys

Set up your preferred hotkeys for each feature. Customize other shortcuts in the preferences.

Start Using

Press your hotkey and start talking! Try "What's on my screen?" or "Help me write an email" to get started.
